Life...

My life is a journey that has just started.  Life is so interesting. There are so many paths that we can take, and eventually we each have the agency to choose what we believe will be the best for us. I consider my life a very simple life. I've had ups and downs, but the best part is knowing that everything will be ok at the end.

I am a Mormon girl that grew up in a small town near Santiago, Chile called Maipu. Yup... if you are wondering how to pronounce it, it is "My poo". There is still a special place in my heart for Chile. But at the same time I wouldn't  change where I am now. Sometimes I look back and I wonder what my life would be if I was still in Chile. Would have I met my husband? Would have I gone to collage? Would I still be in the Church? Those are questions that I will never have an answer to, but they don't matter because I didn't choose to stay. I chose to be here. And I'm very happy with my decision.

I am the first in my family to attend college and will eventually graduate. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I was given. I can't wait until my little sister chooses the same path. I want her to be successful and receive the same joy that I do when I learn something new. Education is a huge part of life. The more education you have, more doors will be open to you. Not just financially, but also spiritually.

God has an amazing plan for each one of us. It is hard to understand at times, but it is so complex that as we turn to him we are able to comprehend  the  plan that He has for us.  It is amazing to me that we can have a relationship with such an omnipotent and omniscient  being. We are so insignificant compare to Him. But He loves us. His love is longlasting. No matter what we do He is there. We are the ones that turn our back on Him. Sometimes we need to humble ourselves, and we'll noticed His love for us.

It is amazing to see how we can see His hand extended to us everyday. We just have to look around us and we will see. As a mother, I have come to understand a little more of the love that He has for us. Today I felt that love. I picked my daughter up and I started dancing with her. I was able to experience something magnificent. My love for that little girl is so immense and there are no words to describe it. I just looked into her eyes and I was able to see right through her sweet spirit. She is beautiful. I was able to see the joy that she had because I took a small moment to spend time with her.

That's what life is about. Taking small moments and experiences and making those memorable. Many times we focus on us or what people think of us or what they would think about our opinion on things. But instead we need to take time to spend with those that need us the most. Sometimes we don't even realize that those experiences are not meant for those individuals but rather for our own personal growth.

We each see life in different ways. We have all had experiences that have shaped us to become the persons that we are today. We are all going to go through trials and tribulations through out our life. There are going to be storms in our lives, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and that is the atonement of Christ. Through Him all things are possible. As we understand the atonement better we can acknowledge and be more positive about our difficulties in this life.

I am so grateful for my life and the experiences I have had. I couldn't change them for anything. Those have made me grow stronger and have helped me recognize the things that matter the most to me. Family is essential and it will always be in my life.
